I have taken up painting on actual canvas. It is hard. No surprise there. My first painting was awful. Is awful. It stares at me balefully when it's visible. My second one, much better. I have this tendency to keep painting flowers. I don't know why. There used to be a painting of flowers on the wall in my house, done by my grandfather. Maybe painting flowers is in the genes. lol My brother has taken up cooking. He uses a slow cooker to make ridiculously tender and tasty meals. The best part is, he shares them! There's been a serious lack of art in my life lately. Lack of art that I've created. There's no lack of great art other people created!! You guys are doing great. It seems that my talents lie in making little logos in Illustrator. I'm not so sure that's really art. I'm not sure I want to turn my Deviantart account into a portfolio for graphic design-y stuff. Wtf might that be called? Nearly finished at BCIT with my graphic design program, and I don't know what to call that stuff. We're buddies now. I have discovered it. See, this is why I wanted to go to school. I wanted a solid foundation of the basics of certain programs. I wanted to learn about web design, too, but oh well. Perhaps I'll go back to school for that, too, once I'm done. I am taking a short graphic design program at BCIT in my province. It's a part time program that allows me to work on the side. That's great, but now I wonder if I took the wrong program. I like illustrator, but you should have seen my face when I discovered I could adjust text boxes to any shape in InDesign. I died. So awesome. I spent too long doing shit all! Time for more artwork.
